My Instagram and FB profiles have been disabled! I’ve been accused of not following “Community Standards”. I’m perplexed!
I’m very mindful of everything I do on social media. I wouldn’t dare do anything that could result in any sort of harm, offense, or violating minors! Nonetheless, despite just celebrating a major milestone, exceeding 2k followers, a week later I’m locked out. Of course I appealed the decision. Yet, this was an exercise in futility as some sort of AI is likely responsible regarding the restoration or permanently disabling my account. My appeal resulted in another message that stated I; “no longer have access to Lane.Lamoreaux” “All your information will be permanently deleted” - ugghhh!!!!
I was leaning on social media to help promote the publication of my upcoming memoir. Should I start all over!?!? That is what Instagram is directing me to do.
I’m beside myself…! What if such an awful mistake unfolds again. Is there an alternative to Instagram?!?!
