Going from the blistering heat of the Arabian Desert I have found myself in the summer sizzling temps of the Sonoran Desert in the SW of North America! Many would look at such a move as madness. However, for my health care needs, specifically around my prosthetic limb - I am tethered to the Carl T. Hayden VA of Phoenix Arizona. Additionally, my sisters, and all their cute kids, are just an hour drive away.
Overall, I’m really relishing in the experience, just because I am inundated with options regarding how I’d like to go about living each day. This has led me to unique and new coffee shops and places for a cold pint!
The ability to go about my day with according to my personal preference and discretion is a delight that you can’t entirely appreciate until it’s been withheld. Simultaneously, I’ve made significant progress on the manuscript for my memoir. I’ve printed hundreds of new business cards and other marketing merch!
